UK approves Abu Hamza extradition
--The Times (Hamza is a "veteran of the [NATO-backed] Balkan wars of the 1990s" and "urged his listeners to travel to Albania and Kosovo to support the Islamic cause." Back then, British intelligence said Hamza and other militants "had the right to a roof over their heads in Britain, even if they had carried out murders in other countries." Now Hamza is considered more of a liability than an asset. Having served his purpose, he will likely vanish in Guantanamo Bay or some other secret U.S. prison. --DB)

Lobbyists for Foreign Governments Raise Money, Get Clinton, McCain Meetings
--ABC News (With Sibel Edmonds in the news, it is interesting to learn from this article that two of Hillary Clinton's "top moneymen," John Merrigan and Matthew "Mac" Bernstein, signed a $100,000-per-month lobbying contract with the Turkish government last March to prevent "the introduction, debate and passage of legislation and other U.S. government action that harms Turkey's interests or image." Here is a copy of the document. --DB)

Turkish Parliament Moves to Probe Deep-State Gangs
--Today's Zaman (Facing blowback from within, Turkish authorities have been forced to act against a sect of the country's underworld. But make no mistake, Turkey's "deep-state" goes much deeper than the recent arrests. The ultimate outcome of the opposition party's push for a probe ought to be interesting. --DB)
